Da holidays can be a furry fun time of the year for us and ourz hoomans. Dey can also be furry stressful fur da hoomans Dey have sew much to do and often sew liddle time. Diz why I am writing diz guide wiff ways mew can help da hoomans during da holidays. Helping is such great fun!

Da furrst ob da holidays iz da Halloween. Diz waz my furrst Halloween and I waz a furry big help.

My hooman likes to carve pumpkins and I made sure I was there to help. Da pumpkin carving stuff iz stored in a box wiff da patterns. Wiff da help of the other cats, we made short werk of da box, leaving it in pieces on da floor. Diz made da hooman have to get a new box to put all da carving stuff in. Next I helped eat da stuff dat waz scraped out of da pumpkin, stringing it all ober da floor. Diz whey da hooman haz tew clean da floor sew da floor iz now clean again fur da holidays. Carving tools make great toys, so make sure mew scatter them all ober da floor so da hoomans can look for dem. I also ate da face out of meowmie’s furrst pumpkin she carved so she had to make another one.

On Halloween night I waz better dan da doorbell. I watched and waited fur all da liddle trick or treaters. Make sure mew stands right in furront ob da door wiff mews paws on it sew mew haz to be moved before da door can be opened. Always remember to steal da candy furrom da candy bowl and purrlay wiff it on da floor. It furry helpful tew shove it unfur couches sew dat da hoomans can furfind it later.

Thanksgiving iz a time when da hoomans spend a lot of time in da kitchen. I love it in da kitchen, dere iz sew much mew can do to help.

Make sure to open kitchen cabinets for meows hoomans and inspect all da pots and pans. Dey luff it when dey haz tew wash da cat hair off before dey use dem. Mew might eben furfind some ob da candy furrom Halloween dat mew hid in dere.

My faforite place to sit iz in da kitchen sink, diz whey I can help with all da baking and cooking dat goes on. Sometimes if I get too close to the pie dough or da turkey meowmie will squirt me wiff water furrom da sink. If diz happens get as wet as mew can, look furry sad and catfused den run to da couch to shake and dry off.

Make sure mew soak da couch so da hoomans have to stop and dry off the couch.

When all da fude iz cooked and da hoomans sit down to eat make sure mew iz right dere so mew can have some fude too. Cat pawprints on da holiday table are a necessary part of the table setting. If there is a centerpiece wiff flowers or foilage of sorts make sure mew take a bite and run wiff it. Trust me, hoomans love when mew helps wiff decoratin!

I muss say dat I duzent know much about Hanukkah. Dere are candles involved with diz holiday so I fink chewing on or carrying da candles off and hiding dem would be furry helpful. Make sure da candles are not lit when mew duz dis. Singed whiskers or worse would be furry bad.

Fur Christmas dere are lots ob fun ways to help. Mew muss make sure mew help out in da kitchen juss as mew did fur Thanksgiving. Mew may get lucky and not get wet in da sink since da hoomans may not want to have to stop in da middle of cooking and dry off the couch. Sometimes one of mine hoomans will jess yell out “COME GET YOUR FOO!” Diz means I am helping well and muss come running back into da kitchen as soon as I am removed. I always make sure I inspect the inside of the dishwasher. Make sure mew duzent get shut in. Diz why sometimes I am called MoveIT Foovit!

Holiday decorations come in boxes. Remember to help with the boxes as mew did fur Halloween. Hoomans always like having to get new boxes and pick up cardboard shreds furrom da floors. Diz whey mew makes sure da floors stay clean fur da holidays.

When da tree arrives make sure mews inspect it furrom top to bottom and den back furrom da bottom tew da top. Make sure mew stay close to da inside ob da tree, dat whey when da hoomans try to pull mew off mew can pull da tree wiff mew.

Help decorate da tree by dragging da tree skirt down da hallway. Diz sew much fun! While da hoomans are retrieving the skirt from where mew left it mew can help by running off with some of da decorations dat have strings on dem. Hoomans always need help getting stuff out of boxes. Once da tree iz all decorated it is your job to make sure da ornaments are knocked down sew hoomans can pick dem up every morning. My hoomans do not put anything breakable on da tree because dey donut want us to get hurt. Make sure mew tip the tree over at least once during the season.

Presents are wonderful! Small ones can be carried off and batted around before mew chew the paper off. Big ones are made fur sharpening claws on and tearing paper off sew mew can purrlay wiff it. Meowmie locks us all out of the room when she wraps presents so we cant see what we are getting. I cant believe she does not want our help fur diz job. Furry tape sticks sew well. Be sure to take all da bows off and purrlay wiff dem. It helps to leave some evidence in da dog bed so da dog gets some credit fur helping too.

I hope mew enjoy helping wiff da holidays as much as I do. Remember diz, anywhere and anyway mew can help iz greatly appreciated by da hoomans and mew may even get some new nicknames.
