OUR BELOVED CLAW
MEMORIES

AS TOLD BY LUCKIE AND PRISSY

Finding the right words to start talking about CLAW is one of the hardest tasks I have ever done. There is so much to say! CLAW was the love of my life for a long time as well as all of my siblings. We all loved CLAW and Queen Midnight and all she did for everyone in CLAW. Queen Midnight's family were all very kind and giving and gentle cats. We had the pleasure of being friends with them as well as working on many projects with Plato and Sunny. Queen Midnight and her family had a way of making me and my siblings all feel very unique and special for being a part of CLAW. We will never forget them for that!

Many friends and relationships were made throughout our years in CLAW. Our family actually got to meet and become friends with several Meowmie's who were in CLAW. Some Meowmie's even came as far as Texas to see us and spend Christmas with us. Even through this present time our family still remains friends and keeps in touch with several CLAW families :) Sadly though many of our kitty friends have crossed to rainbow bridge but we always remember them in our hearts.

Memories of CLAW are so deep and so many as it is so hard to write each and every one so we are going to mention our favorites:) I remember the very first time I received my CLAW SERVICE AWARD. I was so proud and honored. Later on in time I went on to receive more CLAW Service Awards and each one was always more special then the past one! My family's favorite place was CLAW University. All of us were so busy taking all of the CLAW classes and getting all of those CLAW degrees! We had a great time doing it and never thought of it as work ... it was our fun! We all took part in writing classes for the various colleges and being graders too! At the end of the semester we always took part in dressing up and graduating and getting our diplomas! The groups and guilds were fabulous. We were leaders whenever and wherever we possibly could be and we joined everything! There was so much to do! I learned something I never knew about myself before I joined CLAW ... I possessed a writing ability while being in CLAW that came shining through ... I wanted to write, write, write! Thankfully Queen Midnight and everyone else understood my writing obsession and went along with it and I got to use my ability at every chance I could! Some of our favorite guilds were the Flower Society, Writer's Society, and of course we all wrote for the Zine! CLAW Theatre was always something special to see and the costumes and shows were out of this world. CLAW possessed many talented cats and there talents never went unnoticed as Queen Midnight always showed gratitude and appreciation to those deserving felines :)

I know I am leaving out so many things about CLAW but in order to fit everything in I would need to write a book! I am saving the best thing for last that I remember about CLAW ... THE AWARDS AND RANKS CEREMONY. This is the big event in CLAW that if memory serves me correctly was two times a year. Members got recognition for the work they did in groups and guilds as well as leadership in CLAW. There was a points system and every month members earned points for there contributions and could move up in ranks. The ranks went past Princess even! I remember all of those years I worked my kitty butt off trying to get the PRINCESS RANK. I wanted it so bad and guess what ... I DID IT! My dream was always to become a CLAW Princess. My siblings all had high ranks also but I was the only one who made it that high, PRINCESS LUCKIE OF CLAW! I am sure my other siblings and myself would have gone past Prince/Princess if sadly CLAW had not closed. I try and not remember that sad sad day. My heart was broken and I felt like the rug was pulled out from under me. But I understood why it happened and we all moved on at my house and kept our CLAW memories deep in our hearts!

CLAW will always be a part of our lives and we will always remember those who gave us all of these wonderful memories!
