Smokey and Chrissy at the Back Fence Cat Club



CHRISSY
Smokey and I are brand mew at the Back Fence Cat Club.
We heard they needed some cats to head it up.
Our meowmie was unable to keep us,
so we decided this would be
a grand oppurtunity.
Smokey and I want to tell yu bout us
so we ken be frens, and not strangers.
I'm the girl and I'm 5 years old and weigh 12 lbs. 14.5 oz.
I LOVE LIFE !!!
I luff playing wiff my toy mousies.
I luff sleeping on meowmies bed.
I'm tidy and groom Smokey and even Meowmie.
I luff treats.
I'm easy going and friendly.

SMOKEY
Well - I'm all BOY !!! I'm six years young and weigh in at 20 lbs.
So I pretty much do whatever I want to do.
Now Chrissy says she grooms me. That doesn't happen often ... and only when I let her do it..

CHRISSY
That's not true, Smokey. Only the other day we were grooming each other.
Remember? I put my front legs around your head and licked your head really good..

SMOKEY
Well ... err ... that's right. But I want to tell about impurtant things ... err ...
... about a favorite thing I do. I always follow Meowmie when she goes to the kitchen. I look at my pathetic empty kibble dish. I look at her
with my big green eyes - giving her 'THAT' look.
I'm sure you all know 'THAT' look.
Poor Meowmie - she doesn't stand a chance
when I give her my special look.

CHRISSY
I use that look to get 'treats'.
Oh yes - we can't furget the windows here.
When we're inside, we can keep track of the Back Fence.
But we also get to see birdies, doggies,
and meowmies and daddies walking around.
That's a lot of fun !!

SMOKEY and CHRISSY
We know we can't take Freya's place, but will do our best
to bring you the Cat Internet mews and some little stories.
We're counting on Chuck to help us out.
He's our good pal and we hope you too will become a friend.
