Sam and Pippin are sitting together one day when they notice Meowmie had opened the storage room door. "What's Meowmie doing Pippin?" mewed Sam. "Meowmie is getting out the Christmas boxes Sam. Lets go into the storage area. When Meowmie is getting out boxes, she will not say no to going in the storage room. Eight plastic boxes were soon piled up in a corner of the living room. Next Meowmie will re-arrange the house. Sure enough, lots of things came out of the bookcase then onto the couch and chair. Then Meowmie opened each box and took some things out and put them around the house. The favorite spot is the Christmas tree Meowmie puts together. and then puts decorations on it. Later April will play with some and even hid one or two. Meowmie puts a tree skirt on the table and it looks like a cave to the boys. Meowmie was going to put lights on the tree this year but Sam is still a kitten and he might, just might, bother the light cord. Pippin mews "Sam what is that silver stuff?" That is tinsel Sam, do not eat it. It will hurt your insides. Meowmie is furry careful about that tinsel.

On Christmas Eve Meowmie will put presents under the tree (her sister usually sends Meowmie something ) and Santa Paws will come. After the presents are under the tree Meowmie puts all the kitties in the bedroom and closes the door to the hallway .

Christmas morning we all go downstairs and open presents and have fun with the wrapping paper. After the New Year comes Meowmie takes all the decorations down and puts them away for next year. Maybe next year there will be lights on the tree.
