The Famous Ragdoll

by Left
Ragdoll cats make a perfect companion for any human kitty lover. Ragdolls
have changed many non-kitty lovers as well. This is because of their
laid back nature. These kitties fit in just about anywhere as long
as it is indoors. Since they have such docile natures, they are strictly
indoor cats. They do extremely well with children and other household
pets. Many ragdolls actually like having their tummies rubbed. They
are very affectionate, playful, relaxed, adaptable cats who love to
be handled and will often go limp when held.

Ragdolls are large, heavy cats. They do not reach their
full weight until they are at least 4 years old. Females generally
weight from 11 to 15 pounds. Males generally weight from 13 to 20
pounds. Kittens are born white. Their color maturity is not reached
until they are 2 years old of age. Ragdoll patterns and colors vary
and Ragdolls always must have blue eyes. The darker the better. Their
coats are medium-long and rabbit-like. Ragdolls do not require routine
grooming and shed very little.
