A
Little Bit of Faith

Ah, Spring...the warmly welcomed bridge between frostbite and
heat stroke. At last you have returned. I've sat at the window for days,
waiting for your arrival..hungering for warm, squishy stuff on my paws.
Now, the grass is growing, humans soon will be mowing, and I sit patiently
watching the green sprouts poke tiny heads out for my nibbling delight.
I am in feline heaven. If this is a dream, please don't wake me..if
you do, you will be heartlessly shredded. You are forewarned!

But this is no dream for I can hear sweet birdsong,so much more beautiful
then the harsh cawing of crows all winter. I had to catch my breath
at the sight of a baby squirrel scampering up the tree next door..mamma
squirrel only a few feet away, dashing any hopes for a tasty snack.
I am feeling too joyful to mind.

Spring, please decide to linger all year...I love you so. You complete
me. Wait..what is that? A bunch of tiny blue flowers are making a grand
entrance and I must go greet them. Dancing paws on squishy earth...
Nervana.
