The Great Dentist Adventure

Meowmie had January 19th off but did she stay home? No she took the Crew to the dentist. And then since she was off she went to the human dentist too.

The Crew know something was up when Sunday night the food was taken up by 7 pm. When kitties go to the vet for dental cleaning, they have no food the night before. No one slept good that night, not even meowmie.
In the morning the girls and Casey were easy to catch and put in the carriers. Pippin led meowmie on a game of catch-me-if-mew-can! Upstairs, downstairs, behind the couch etc. Finally Pippin was caught! On the ride to the vet office Casey meowed some things that are not fit for kittens eyes or ears!

Before going to the her dentist meowmie called the vet to check on everyone. Everything was ok. However, meowmie left her cell phone on at her dentist just in case. Meowmie had a couple of teeth fixed and she was very sad when she came home to an empty house. No one to cuddle up with. Meowmie was furry glad when we came home!

At our vet each kitty gets a report to take home and this year a picture of their teeth. And meowmie had a long talk with the vet on the phone.

Pumpkin. Her report was that she was a little nervous today. Maybe she picked it up from meomwie. Anymew Pumpkin hissed at her favorite vet tech . Pumpkin later meowed she was sorry to the nice vet tech.

Pippin. was a good boy. However he had some hair missing on his neck. Meowmie thinks he is allergic to the hand soap dispenser (he is always rubbing against it) and of course Pippin roughs it up with his sisfur's.Pippin is always rubbing his neck against something. The vet suggested to meowmie to buy a baby t-shirt and put it on Pippin, so meowmie bought a blue baby oneise t-shirt (the shirt says I have the keys to mommy's heart). (size 3months). Pippin turns out to be a magician, he takes off the shirt every time! Meowmie thinks he is the cutest kitty with the shirt on. Pippin does not think he looks cute in it. Meowmie put some vitamin E on the hair loss and its now better. We are hoping for no more trips to the vet ! Well maybe to show off Pippin in his shirt.

April was the best girl. She even ate when food was offered to her. Casey was the baddest of the Crew. He fought his sleepy medicine but finally gave in. He is on special diet food and all the Crew likes it. All the Crew had before and after pictures taken of their teeth.

Casey was the first one to forgive meowmie that night. It took the girls till Wednesday and Pippin a week to forgive meowmie. Poor Meowmie!!!!

Teeth are furry important and we will do again next year.
